Carrie & Amett's sunkissed engagement session!

So Carrie & Amett went and picked out the perfect location, a great beach alongside the Miami Seaquarium. The great thing about this beach is the city and large bridge in the background, adds to each photo like an accessory.
The shoot was a week and a half ago but there were SOOOO many photos that I had to comb through. I had to pick my favorites out of 814, what stopped me from shooting a little more was the rain... Their wedding is just going to be awesome. They are so fun and just love each other so much which just shows in every photo.

Click here for the slideshow, enjoy, the couple selected the very cool tune!

Anabelle, Baby Girl Lifestyle Portraits

By far one of the cutest little girls I've ever had the pleasure to shoot. She smiled the entire time. I don't remember her crying once. She is 5 months of pure joy. You can just see it in Mom & Dad's face. She was so photogenic and happy. No backdrops used just their home. It is best remembered that way in my opinion. Her girly little room and pretty pink dresses were the perfect settings and backdrops for this shoot. And of course Dad keeps the lawn and pool perfectly maintained. It felt as if we were on the lawn and pool deck at some fancy hotel. Well you'll see what I mean once you see the photos of this cutie.

Baby Anthony turns 1!

Baby anthony was famous in these shoots:
Baby-oh-baby

Christmas Portriats
Now here is the front side of his invitations that we took the photos for and designed. I will be shooting his party in late June so look out for some of those.
I love how I am able to follow in this family's year and progress.
Anthony is so spunky and fun to be around. I cried from how much I laughed at him playing with the cake. Mom and Dad got a little worried at the end and didn't know how they were going to clean him up, I did not think of that before either, thank goodness we had baby shampoo at home and we were able to wash him up in the sink. He did not comaplain once. Hey would you if they gave you an entire cake to make a mess of and eat and have someone to clean you up after? I wouldn't.
We will now be offering these for birthday parties so if you are looking for something like this, let us know. I would love to come up with something unique for your shoot.

Happy Belated Mother's day!!!

This is a late Mother's day message/post. I want to wish all my moms a great Mother's day, and hope it lasts all year long. :)
My mother's day was special, I spent it at my Grandmother's house and we did a big breakfast buffet. My son took the following picture on mother's day of my hubby, The Simply Captivating Videogrpaher, Javier (Javier is AKA Husband, Dad, Videographer, editor, etc... I couldn't be a Mom without him). The photograph was taken by my 7 year old son, who does not like to pose in pictures. Javier and I are usually behind the camera so heres a sneek peak at what we look like in front of it. I think my son did an swesome job with this picture, 3 family members tried to take our picture and our son's was the best. Don't you agree :)!!!! Well back to work. Boy there are going to be TONS of photos posted this week. These past 2 weeks have been busy and I am so excited to show everyone what we've been upto.

A surprise Proposal!!!

Well, like another post, this would have been about a friend of mine, Melissa a wedding planner from http://eventsonabudget.com/ who did a surprise birthday party for her Mom. Melissa suspected something was just different about her boyfriend Mark. Well Mark had something special planned, he let us know as soon as he walked in that he wanted us to mic him(we were video taping too) because he had a poem he would read... But I knew right away what he was going to do, or so I hoped that I was right.

Well Mark had Melissa join him on the dance floor and asked that the DJ play a song in honor of her since she had worked so hard to get her Mom's birthday planned. She's an awesome planenr by the way. Well the first song went by and they danced and then a 2nd song went by and they danced, by the 3rd song people sat down, confused of course. Melissa even looked over at me with this wierd face, hoping that I could give her insight as to what was happening, but I was just as confused and hoping that he would do something special after all this. Then another song, yes 4 songs, at this point people started dancing, the song was by marc anthony and was the longest 5 minutes I have ever experienced for some reason.

Mark then turns to me and asks for the Dj's Mic. He gets on one knee, and Melissa just drops to the floor, squatting/kneeling with him, bawling. I cried too. And also shot away as much as I could. I am SOOOO happy for them, and of course she said yes. I hope to put up a video clip soon of the proposal because it was just so special. I feel as if I have known Mark all my life, but I just finally met him on Sunday.

So I encourage you to see the following pics and post your comments below, or email Melissa and tell her Congratulations, I'm sure she won't mind. I hope I get to shoot their wedding. I'm sure its going to be AWESOME.

Well here are the photos. (by the way there were butterflies all over the room, there was a wedding the night before and they did a butterfly release and the butterflies just stayed there, it was definitly a symbol of a new beginning!!!)
