Beautiful beach side wedding at Matheson Hammocks

The weather was horrible. It only let up for a quick 20 minutes for the ceremony to take place, as the couple were walking back up the aisle the rain started coming.
It let up again for us to go out side and get some quick shots. And I mean quick, max 10 minutes before it started raining again.
Everything was so beautiful though. The contrast of the stormy clouds with the beautiful beach and bride & groom. The details inside the Red Fish Grill. Yes another event by the great Melissa Caceres of Events on a Budget.
It is so worth having a planner. Melissa pulled off a tent for the reception one hour before the wedding. They arrived right as the ceremony was finishing up and had it set up before cocktail was over.
This wedding was super emotional for everyone. The bride and groom, Chiara & Daniel, were so grateful to all their guests. Their guests were so nice and everyone was just so happy to be there. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Ana & Brian on Lincoln Road

This was the first time I had shot at Lincoln Road, it was packed on Sunday. We started off with Ice cream from Godiva. Then strolled up and down the shops. We also went to the beach, the sunset was amazing, and then stopped by the Delano for some quick shots, we were prohibited from shooting indoors or on their premises so we shot in the front where the beautiful blue door sits right on the curb.
This was the perfect blend of small town feel meets urban. The great thing was that the beach was also very accessible and just down the block. Over all I had a great time, poor Brian sat on gum during the shoot and got his pants all wet. Ana looked beautiful in her sunset colored dress.

Paula & Alex are finally married!!!!

I am so sorry this post took so long. I just shot their wedding this past Saturday. Paula & Alex's engagement session was last summer at Matheson Hammocks. They originally had their wedding set for Nov of 07 and I originally met them in Nov of 06. I am soooo happy to have known them and to have been able to capture their wedding. Paula and Alex are truly patient, sweet people.
The world is really a much happier place with the two of them around. They have a true gift. Their wedding was very special to them and to everyone that was there. I am not aware of all their struggles but I know they have been through a lot. I remember hearing about how they got engaged in New York and all the funny things and all the trouble Alex went through to make it special. Again I am so happy this day came and that everything turned out so beautifully.

The Wedding was at St. Peter & Paul and the Reception at The Coral Gables Junior Women's club. It was a beautiful day time wedding. Everything was put together by EventsonaBudget.com, please check them out, Melissa(the planner) does miracles with all budgets, she too has a gift for what she does.

Anika & George's Wedding!!

I can't believe how fast this year flew by. I remember meeting with Anika and her Mom last year and being super excited about their wedding, Melissa from EVENTS ON A BUDGET was going to be the planner... I loved the decor, all white. Melissa did an awesome job.
I also made a separate gallery on my site for this wedding.

I love Anika & George, I feel as if I have known them and their family my entire life.
They are super photogenic and have bubbly personalities.
I can't wait till they see their photos.

The staff at the Sky Tower were amazing, Trisha is the coordinator there and she was very attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of.
