LARGE Family Portraits

I loved photographing this family. They all matched... too cool. Each family was color coordinated and they each wore their own pastel color. It ended up coming out very nice, the day was beautiful. They had rescheduled and had me booked since January. The shoot also gave me the oportunity to photography Gema & Elvis, they just got engaged in February. This family is not new to me. I photographed Ericka's 15's in January, and then found out her Aunt Gema had gotten engaged when she entered the engagement shoot contest. We got a few e-pics with this session, since everyone was so fast and easy to work with. See for yourself, here's there slideshow!

Power of the Good Samaritan!!!

OK so this post would have only been about a great looking couple and their golden engagement shoot. But in the middle of our shoot this post changed. We were lying on the sand taking awesome shots(see below) when we got up to go get some other shots, just then Lisette felt her ring slip off of her finger. She immediately looked down and told us to help her look that it had not gone far since she noticed it fall. We eventually got on our hands and knees, Lisette crying(wouldn't you). I took my ring off and dropped it (purposely) and noticed that they can settle into the sand, this of course made us more frantic as we sifted our fingers through the sand. I paused several times to see if there was anyone with a metal detector, I had seen someone on prior shoots, yesterday there were none. Some girls withe their Canon photography gear decided to stop and ask if it was a ring by any chance we were missing, they immediately began searching. We were now 8 searching, more people cam e and went as this ordeal took almost 20 minutes, it seemed longer than that. But wait this story has a happy ending. One of the girls found the ring, Lisette cried again , happy tears. See their slideshow here! Some of my favorites are found below! I asked the good Samaritan to email me, they haven't yet, maybe they will see this post and decide to at least let me know their names.

I introduce to you Francis & Luis. Too cute... I loved the shots we got, but boy was it a hot day. I love Miami. The water was so crystal clear and they were just willing to do anything.

30th Anniversary/Vow renewal!!!

I am so happy that Aleida & Jose's Daughters, Jenny & Kat chose us to document their day. What a lovely ceremony, and such wonderful people to be around. I also had the privilege of designing an album, this is some of the pre-design. Comments welcome!
